1. Tell us about the business
Services, coverage radius, boat types, whether you are mobile on the water, and your credentials.
2. Name two past customers
We email them a private, tokenised form. They rate price against quote, price fairness, quality and timeline.
3. Scoring and approval
Answers are scored with extra weight against way-over-quote and way-late outcomes. Once two land, an admin reviews and flips you live.
How the score is calculated
Each reference produces a 1–5 score. Quality carries the most weight, then price behaviour, then timeline. Outlier answers — way over quote, way overpriced, way late — are penalised harder than a merely middling answer, so a single bad experience genuinely moves the number. The public rating is the average of all verified references.
